Majālis At-Taḥqīq
Established nine years ago, our first halaqah, through Allāh's permission, continues to grow — nurturing generations of Huffādh, Qur'ān teachers, and Imāms. Many more halaqāt of the same format have since been started around London and beyond.
These gatherings emphasise the etiquettes of teaching and learning, as passed down from the Prophet ﷺ, his Companions, and the righteous predecessors. It is essential to us that these halaqāt go beyond the mere correction of letters, ensuring they are infused with life through tarbiyah (nurturing) and tazkiyah (purification).
Our goal is for everyone to embody the Qur'ān, much like the Prophet ﷺ, whose character was described by ʿĀ'ishah (RAA) as: "His character was the Qur'an" (Muslim). This is the aspiration we seek to nurture — producing reciters and teachers who not only perfect their recitation but also live by the Qur'ān, reflecting its teachings in both their words and actions.
You are warmly welcome.
No registration is needed for the weekly Majālis At-Taḥqīq — just turn up. Brothers and sisters are requested to come on time if they wish to read; those who arrive late will still benefit from hearing the corrections of others, and are encouraged to attend for the ajr.
