Home/Student Journey

Two pathways at the institute.

Our programmes are designed for Imāms, Muqri'īn, and Huffādh, with the exception of the Majālis At-Taḥqīq and our courses in Tajwīd, which are open to everyone. Each is structured to achieve depth in dirāyah, excellence in adāʾ and iqrāʾ, and to nurture tarbiyah and the character befitting a person of the Qur'ān.

Attending Majālis At-Taḥqīq

The Majālis At-Taḥqīq form the foundation of our project and were the birthplace of Al-Maqari Al-Qur'aniyyah UK. These halaqāt breathe life into the pursuit of Qur'anic knowledge, as highlighted in the ḥadīth of the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ:

No people gather in a house from the houses of Allāh, reciting His Book and studying it among themselves, except that peace descends upon them, the mercy of Allāh envelops them, the angels surround them, and Allāh mentions them to those near Him.

For this reason, attending Majālis At-Taḥqīq is the first step in everyone's journey, and participation is highly recommended for those wishing to progress further.

Upon meeting the required milestones and passing the relevant assessments, students will have the opportunity to travel to Al-Madīnah Al-Munawwarah to study under the scholars of Qur'an there.

They will recite to the mashāyikh, attend their halaqāt in the Prophet's Mosque ﷺ, and benefit from lectures delivered by various mashāyikh in Masjid An-Nabawi.

Upon Return

This ʿilm is an amānah (trust). It is the responsibility of those who seek and gain it to share it with their families and communities. They must strive to lift ignorance from themselves first, and then from the ummah as a whole.

This knowledge is a means of drawing closer to Allāh and saving ourselves from the Fire, while also warning and guiding others towards salvation.

Beyond
Lifelong

Beyond

Seeking knowledge is not a one-time endeavour. Participants in these trips will realise that this is only the beginning, as the pursuit of knowledge does not end until we meet Allāh ﷻ.

To facilitate this, continuous return visits will be organised for those interested, sustaining the ongoing cycle of seeking and spreading beneficial knowledge.

إِنَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ يَهْدِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْوَمُ
Indeed, this Qur'ān guides to that which is most upright.
